CKC National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop

Happy National Scrapbook Day!

Welcome to my stop on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Jemma's blog you are in the right spot. If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop please go HERE.

I have been scrapbooking for about 16 years and over that time have collected many supplies. I remember the days of stickers and die cuts well. They were the only supplies available at my local scrapbook store. I still buy stickers and I have a lot of Cricut cartridges that rarely get used.

My Challenge for You
I would like you link me to your layout using stickers or die cuts. It doesn't matter if it is a layout made today or a layout made in the past. Just inspire me with your use of these oldies but goodies.

Here are some of my sticker and die cut layouts.
This layout has layered paper stickers and epoxy stickers. I didn't need to do much because the paper was printed with the little boxes and words. I just added a paper, ribbon and stickers.

The Coca-Cola stickers are clear stickers, the bottle cap has an epoxy sticker on it, and I added a Thickers title.

I love these pictures of a rainy day at Disney. I added two very old metal faces with words. The rain and boy with umbrella are Cricut cuts. The title is Thickers.

The title is large letter sticker (I think BG) and the little bees are dimensional stickers. I always loved that huge floral print paper but it never really "went" with anything.

In this layout I used epoxy stickers that I have had in my stash for a few years. The title is made with Thickers. I was running out of letters so the Ls are actually Js. You can't really tell and I think it looks cute.

This layout was made with a Cricut cartridge. I love the fossil die cuts.

If you would like to leave a layout in the comments I will be happy to look at it. One reader who leaves a comment with a link to their layout will win a prize pack from me. I will choose the winner on Tuesday so you can leave a comment with a link any time until midnight on Monday.

Your next stop on our HOP is Julie Ann. I am sure she will have a fun challenge for you.

Happy Scrapping!

Hiya -

Funnily enough, I have just finished a layout that fits in with your challenge - the Red Roses paper I've had in my stash for many years, but the red roses stickers are something I thought I would never use, and I think they look great and am happy with the result! Happy NSD! (or I NSD, as I am in the Uk .... )

You're right, I have LOTS of stickers in my stash and very rarely pick them out to use. Let me see if I can get this one done - adding to my LONG list of challenges from today!

You're so right with this challenge! Your layouts are great and make the point :).
Sometimes I just have to remind myself to use all those forgotten stickers and die-cuts.
That is one of the reasons I've put a lot of stickers on my March's Counterfeit kit and die-cuts on my April's counterfeit kit, and I really used a lot of them.
Here's a link to a lo I've made with stickers:

And one using K&co. die-cut:

Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful scrappy weekend.

What a great challenge - and I have so many stickers. With all the new latest and greatest embellies out on the market, my sticker stash always goes by the wayside. Thanks for sharing so many wonderful layouts!

Thanks for this challenge. I have a lot of stickers which I rarely use but can't bear to throw out so this has made a small dent in them.

Looks like I'll be trying to add some stickers or die-cuts to my kit this month - just so that I remember to use some.

Oh great challenge - stickers are something I definitely have a love/hate relationship with. Thanks for all the fantastic examples.
Those giant cans of Coke are hilarious!

I have something from this weekend that will meet your challenge - I'll come back and link it as soon as I get pics done.

I have two:

http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/60958-downtown-westport-4th uses some old stickers that came in the mail with an advertisement to buy a scrapbooking magazine. Have you ever got those? I also used some old Jenni Bowlin label stickers.

http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/60806-summer-cousins uses some letter sticker centers as confetti, and a journaling quote sticker that came free with a scrapbooking magazine.
